BT projects that comply with the law will continue to be paid through land allocations
The government has issued Resolution 160/NQ-CP on the use of public assets to pay investors carrying out construction projects under build-transfer (BT) contracts.
Under the resolution, where public assets are used to pay investors implementing construction projects under build-transfer contracts signed in accordance with the law before January 1, 2018 and payment has not been completed, settlement will continue under the terms of the signed BT contract, in compliance with the laws on the management and use of public assets, land legislation, state budget legislation and other relevant legal provisions in force at the time the BT contract was signed.
