Investment Manager

Key responsibilities

  • Source, approach and build a pipeline of high-quality investment opportunities.
  • Evaluate startups through analysis of business model, market, technology, founding team and growth potential.
  • Manage the full investment process from sourcing, screening and due diligence to term sheet and closing.
  • Prepare investment files and Investment Memos, and present them to the Investment Committee.
  • Support portfolio management post-investment, working with startups on growth initiatives, follow-on fundraising and exit strategy.
  • Build and develop relationships with investment funds, corporates, universities, incubators, accelerators and the startup community.
  • Track technology and innovation trends as well as key sectors in Vietnam and the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Investment, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 05 years of experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Venture Capital or Management Consulting.
  • Experience in financial analysis, company valuation and investment due diligence.
  • Solid understanding of the startup, technology and innovation ecosystem.
  • Ability to write Investment Memos and present to senior leadership and the Investment Committee.
  • Fluent English (reading, writing, communication and working with international partners).
  • CFA, CAIA, CPA or other investment-related certifications are an advantage.
